The Membership180 team is in the Lone Star state all this week working on a membership campaign with the Midland Chamber of Commerce, and while we always try to bring something of value to the table for our readers, we thought THIS TIME we’d ask YOU to provide new ideas for Chamber and Association professionals around the world! Here’s the deal: We’ve all been to a state conference and seen a “Sixty in Sixty” presentation. A facilitator stands in front of the room and solicits some fantastic ideas from the audience, limiting each person’s contribution to 60 seconds (hence the name, 60 ideas in 60 minutes). We’re going to open this up to you, our readers! We want to hear your BEST IDEA geared towards LONG-TERM, STRATEGIC GROWTH for membership organizations like yours. These could be suggestions for ways to attract new, younger members or thoughts on how you’ve successfully built a program that generates referrals from your existing members. It could be an event or fundraiser you host that really gets people engaged at a new level. Perhaps it’s a simple strategy you’ve employed that helps keep your retention rate sky high. It’s up to you.
Not only will we publish ALL the ideas we get in next week’s blog, we’re also giving away a prize for the BEST IDEA (as voted upon by the Membership180 team). In order to enter, you must respond to this blog post below. Comments on our Social Media pages WILL NOT COUNT as entries. Please keep your posts below 200 words. If you have multiple ideas, post multiple comments and get multiple entries. Judging will take place on Sunday, April 13th, 2014. The winner will receive a brand new iPad Mini shipped directly to their Chamber!
Ready? Let’s hear some great ideas!!!
